Employees are still free to opt out IntellectPeople healthcare insurance plans if they have another insurance through their spouse or wish to enroll in any non-group health insurance. 

IntellectPeople offers paid vacation based on length of service, designation and grade. Vacation requests are always subject to manager or supervisor approval based on the client requirements and demands. 

  • Eligible employees who require time off for an approved leave of absence, the following coordination of vacation applies: 

  • An employee will continue to earn vacation during their approved paid leave of absence period provided they return to work. 

  • Consistent with IntellectPeople policy, if an employee's total leave carries over from one calendar year to the next, any vacation accrued but not used as of the end of the calendar year will not carry over to the next year. 

  • If the employee terminates employment while on leave, they will receive pay for any unused accrued vacation earned through their approved paid leave of absence. 

  • Employees who are on an unpaid medical leave of absence also accrue vacation time; vacation is not accrued while on long-term disability.
